This is a special dessert that my grandmother (nonna in Italian) used to make whenever there was something to celebrate. It's a Genoise sponge soaked in Brandy and Alchermes Liqueur ,filled with crème patissiere, chocolate and almond cream.
Not suitable for nut and peanut allergy sufferers.
Consume within: 2 days and keep refrigerated.
