The brigadeiro is one of the most popular brazilan chocolate desserts. In Brazil there is no birthday party without brigadeiros.
The recipe is very, very easy and super fast!
I discovered these delicious fudge candies some months ago during a party. My brazilian friend, Gisele, brought these small balls and we ate them all at the end. A great success :-)
Ingredients:
400 ml. condensed milk
30 gr. cocoa powder
10 gr. butter
colorful sprinkles
Mix the condensed milk, cocoa powder and butter together.
Cook in a medium non stick saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the mixture starts to show the bottom of the pan when you scrape it with your spoon (about 8 minutes).
When the brigadeiro is ready, remove from the stove and spread onto a greased plate.
Let cool before starting to roll them into balls with greased hands.
Decorate with sprinkles.
Yummy tip
If you want, you can use brigadeiro cream as a topping or filling for cakes, cupcakes and brownies.
